  • On behalf of the St. John’s Fire Fighters Association, I would like to thank you all for attending this event and assisting us in our efforts to lessen the burdens of those afflicted with Muscular Dystrophy. I’d like to thank the Legendary Hockey Heroes, Xentel DM Inc., Mile One's Management & Staff, our own Local Media and the many, many volunteers who have helped make this endeavour a great success.

  • On behalf of the Directors, Coaches and members of the Moncton Special Olympics program, I offer my sincere appreciation to the Legendary Hockey Heroes who have offered their time and talent to take part in the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge. This event will raise valuable funds for the Special Olympics programs in the Tri-Communities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview.

  • The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics celebrates 20 successful years in
    Ontario in 2006. Your participation, support and involvement with the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge is as vitally important to Special Olympics as the Torch Run itself.

  • On behalf of the The Rainbow Society, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for being chosen as the charity of choice for this exciting event. Last year, due to the outstanding support from the Winnipeg Police Patrolmen Hockey Club, the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge, program advertisers and hockey fans, over $21,000 was raised to make dreams come true for Manitoba children with a life-threatening illness.

  • The Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge and all the excitement that comes with it has proven to be one of the best supporters of our Agency. We at Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Fort St. John would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you from the bottom of our “Big” and “Little” hearts for your continued support.

  • Thank you for your support of our game. Your participation will once again allow us to contribute over $95,000 in cash, plus other opportunities to charities in Southern Alberta. The Flames Alumni is committed to furthering hockey and supporting both its members and chaitable endeavours in the city.

  • On behalf of every member of the Calgary Police Service, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who have generously sponsored the 17th Annual Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge. The Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge has become an established and essential fund-raiser in our community. Our team consists of the Calgary Police Alumni Hockey Club and the Calgary Flames Alumni, who face off against the Legendary Hockey Heroes.

  • On behalf of the Fredericton Police UBC Local 911, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the supporters of this benefit game.The proceeds of this game will be donated to “The Brendan Oreto Needy Kids Programs”. This will allow equipment to be purchased so that boys and girls who would not have the opportunity to play the great game of hockey will be able to do so. On behalf of the Municipal Association of Police Personnel (MAPP) we wish to welcome the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge Classic to Halifax. This event promises to be a fun-filled evening of high jinks and family entertainment that will allow us to contribute towards the IWK Health Centre.

  • Besides putting on a great show, a portion of the proceeds from the game will go to charitable organizations. The Legendary Hockey Heroes and the Durham Regional Police Association have been proud supporters of the Ontario Special Olympics for numerous years.

  • On behalf of the Fort McMurray Firefighters Association Muscular Dystrophy Fund-Raising Committee, I wish to welcome the Legendary Hockey Heroes Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge to Fort McMurray. This event promises to be a fun-filled evening of hilarious, side-splitting fun and family entertainment that will allow us to contribute towards finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.

  • On behalf of the Vancouver Police Union Charitable Foundation (VPUCF), I’d like to thank you all for supporting the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge event today. Partial proceeds from today’s event will support our flagship program, the ‘Immediate Intervention Fund’ (IIF), which is a fund that covers the cost of counselling services for children who have been the victims of child abuse.

  • Again this year, the Legendary Hockey Heroes and the Law Enforcement All-Stars will be turning their attention, and their playing skills, towards benefiting the young patients of The Montreal Children’s Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre.

  • The Grande Prairie Firefighters would like to thank you for supporting them at this year’s Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge. The Firefighters are donating the proceeds from tonight’s game to the Rainbow Society of Alberta, to assist wih fulfilling the dream of a chronically ill or terminally ill child in our community.

  • A portion of the proceeds of tonight’s game will benefit the Ontario Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run, the major charity sponsored by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police. The London Police Service has a long history of involvement with the Law Enforcement Torch Run and we are pleased to be involved in this event.   • To date, this function has raised in excess of $49,000 for recognized charities in Penticton. This year a portion of the ticket sales are going to benefit the Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society Child Development Centre.
  • Fire fighters across British Columbia help raise over $100,000 annually through events such as these.

  • Thanks to you, the Chief R.J. Canuel Memorial Fund has given over $40,000 to local charities in the last three years.
  • The Edmonton Police Faded Blues Hockey Club wishes to thank the Annual Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge. As a result of previous events we have raised in excess of $200,000.
  • This year the Calgary Police Alumni Hockey Club and the Calgary Flames Alumni faced off against the Legendary Hockey Heroes to raise funds for YMCA Calgary Partners with Youth and the Flames Foundation.
  • The members of the Grande Prairie Emergency Services Team will donate their portion of the funds to The Rainbow Society of Alberta.
  • The Lethbridge Regional Hospital Emergency Pediatric Comfort Fund will benefit by receiving the proceeds from the Annual Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge. In the past we have raised over $50,000.
  • The Local Emergency Services Team is donating its portion of ticket sales along with funds raised through program sales, to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Fort St. John.
  • We at the Fairbanks Fire Department feel this is a win-win situation; the community gets to enjoy watching great hockey and the funds raised go toward fire prevention in our community.
  • The Fort McMurray Fire Department would like to thank the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge and will donate their portion of the ticket sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
  • The Ontario Provincial Police are pleased to raise funds for Ontario Special Olympics by participating in the game.
  • The men and women of the Ottawa Police Service are honoured to raise financial assistance for worthy causes with the help of the Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge.
